The Northern California Veterans Museum & Heritage Center (NCVM) is an IRS 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and a California Charity One Organization with offices located in Anderson, CA. We also have a 5.5 acre property located in Shasta County just south of the Anderson Wal-Mart that we are currently working towards developing to its full capacity. We are currently working with Shasta County to certify our septic system so that we can break ground on the main Museum campus.

The NCVM is a grassroots organization that is 100% Volunteer run with 100% of all donations going back into the local Northern California Veterans community. No one takes a wage, and all of our programs are funded by generous donations like yours in our community! NCVM just celebrated its 20th anniversary in June of 2023 and we are excited to see what the future holds!

The goal of the NCVM is to preserve our rich US Military history, educate our next generation, and provide care, assistance, and support to our local Veteran communities.

The NCVM is the umbrella organization that houses our many nonprofit programs that serve our local Veteran, Active-Duty Military Personnel, and our Senior Veterans and Widows in Shasta, Trinity, Siskiyou, Lassen, and Butte Counties. Our programs are as follows:

Homeward Bound Military Family Support Services - Serving Post 9/11 Veterans and Active Military Personnel Families with emergency services, food, clothing, and care packages sent to our deployed personnel during the holidays.

Silver Star Veterans & Widows - Serving our Senior Veterans and their surviving spouses in a variety of ways once the Veteran spouse has passed.

Battlefield Expressions PTSD Art Therapy Program - An Art therapy program that offers creativity and healing through art and targeted art instruction and exercises. Available to all Veterans, their family members, First Responders and their families at no cost to the participants.

Operation K9 Support - Offering support to Veterans and their Service Animals if they are unable to provide food or veterinarian care to their service animal.

Warm-A-Vet - Supplying cold-weather clothing items, handmade items, and blankets to our local Veterans facing challenges during the winter months.

Each of our programs in one way or another, help to serve Veterans and their families with emergency services such as food, clothing, medical supplies and mobility aids, personal care items, small home repairs, auto repairs, firewood, service animal care and support, advocacy, resources, counseling, rent assistance, utility assistance, transportation, care packages to our deployed Military personnel at Christmas, and holiday meals for our local Veterans, Senior, Active Military Personnel families in need.

It is our goal to help as many of our local Veterans and their families as possible. We can only do this through the kindness and generosity of the wonderful people like you in our North State! We want to thank you in advance for your support, your kindness, and care!
