Burney Friends and Neighbors

The specific purpose of Burney Friends and Neighbors' corporation is to create a connecting point to address the needs of the Intermountain area. Raise funds to address community needs. Promote public health/safety, community energy solutions, social equity, community/cultural cohesion, job training, resource obtainment.

In addition the goal is to preserve the former Burney Presbyterian Church Sanctuary and community rooms for the use of the Intermountain Area Community Non-profit and not for profit groups and organizations.

We are working diligently with the County Planning Commission and Burney Fire Department answering any and all questions with the help of the engineering group we hired, so we can discuss property exemptions and upgrades as we seek Use Permit approval.

We have applied for grants to enable us the means to upgrade the property for safe entrance/exits into and out the buildings, more efficient heating and cooling systems, and outdoor property upgrades as well.
