Cottonwood Community Park

Cottonwood Community Center & Park was established in 1988 to provide a full-service Community Center and Park facility for the residents of Cottonwood and surrounding communities. In order to maintain facilities and improve them, we leverage the talents of our volunteers, seek donations of materials from community businesses, and we engage in fundraising throughout the year. As a non-profit, (68-0169008) we rely upon all these various means of support. 

The Community Center includes a multiuse building with 3 kitchens and the ability to host 3 community events at once, or it can be utilized as one large facility. It also boasts a charming outdoor event space. This space provides a venue for weddings, meetings, and family gatherings. The center is used by 4-H groups and a variety of educational and recreational activities for youth, adults, and seniors, often at a discount.  

 The park is nestled among several old growth cottonwood trees and bordered by a small creek with a bridge. The playground includes playground equipment, a playhouse, tables, BBQ pits, cornhole, a basketball court, and swings.
