Empower Tehama

A survivor finally finds the courage to leave. A parent is trying to help their child heal. A family arrives at our emergency shelter with only the clothes they were able to grab. And suddenly, the things that seem small to us become enormous barriers.

How will I get there?
How will I get my child to counseling?
How will I get to work?
What will I wear?
How will I make that phone call if I don't have a safe phone?

For the clients we serve at Empower Tehama, these are not hypothetical situations. They are real barriers that can stand between someone and safety. Federal funding cuts continue to create gaps in supportive services. Every dollar brings us one step closer to ensuring that no survivor has to face the journey to safety alone.

⛽ Give $25 to help provide a gas card so a parent can get their child to a counseling appointment.

🚌 Give $50 to help provide transportation for someone who needs to get to safety, work, court, or an essential appointment.

📱 Give $75 to help provide a phone or safe line so a client can stay connected to support.

👕 Give $100 to help provide emergency shelter supplies and Walmart gift cards so survivors can choose their own clothing and personal necessities.
