Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley

At Girls Inc. of the Northern Sacramento Valley (NSV), we are dedicated to empowering local girls aged 6 to 18 in Shasta and Tehama counties. Through in-school, after-school, and extracurricular programs, we foster self-esteem, redefine perspectives, and cultivate leadership qualities. Our mission is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

In collaboration with schools and local organizations, we offer safe environments and enduring mentorship. Our research-based programs equip girls to overcome barriers, grow into independent individuals, and navigate challenges confidently.

We provide free or low-cost programs that encourage interest in STEM, promote drug and pregnancy prevention, enhance self-esteem, and teach crucial life skills like stress management, financial literacy, and community leadership. Ranging from single-day events to year-long in-school programs, our programs empower girls to transform their self-image and realize their full potential as leaders and entrepreneurs.
