Headwaters Trail Runs

Headwaters Trail Runs is a trail running event in Mount Shasta, CA featuring three challenging and scenic race distances that begin and end at Lake Siskiyou.  Established in 2013, the event began to promote the camaraderie of trail running and outdoor recreation, to celebrate health and wellness, to facilitate setting and achieving personal goals, and to build community around these shared values.  To this end it has attracted participants from 29 states, 5 international countries, and has had finishers aged 7 to 82 years old and of all experience levels from first time runners to veteran trail runners.  Headwaters Trail Runs donates a portion of its annual proceeds to the Mount Shasta High School cross-country and track & field programs.
