At Healthy Rural California (HRC), we believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare - no matter where they live. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are addressing Northern California’s most urgent access-to-care challenges by building cradle-to-career medical pathways and training the next generation of doctors to serve our region.

• Recruit and retain physicians in rural communities

• Expand Graduate Medical Education (GME) residency programs that create lasting solutions to the physician shortage

• Expand our MedEd clubs, where students explore healthcare careers, gain hands-on experiences, and are inspired to pursue medical pathways that bring them back to serve their communities

• Strengthen partnerships that address mental health, substance use, and other critical rural health needs
