Mountain biking is more than a sport - it’s community, adventure, connection, and joy. Here in Mount Shasta, we’re lucky to have some of the most beautiful riding in Northern California. But great trails don’t just appear. They’re dreamed, built, and cared for by people who love them.

Bike Shasta (Mount Shasta Mountain Biking Association) is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building, maintaining, and advocating for world-class trails in South Siskiyou County. Since 2012, local riders have worked together to create a vibrant trail system that is open, welcoming, and sustainable.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking for your support to help keep our trails flowing for generations to come.

We work year-round to:

• Build and maintain high-quality, sustainable mountain bike trails

• Protect and expand trail access on public and private lands

• Advocate for the riding community in local land-use planning

• Collaborate with landowners, agencies, and volunteers to steward trails

• Host events that bring people together on bikes

• Welcome new and youth riders to a healthy and supportive outdoor community
