Behind every adoption is a story of love — and sometimes, heartbreak. At Kindred Hearts, we walk alongside families after adoption or guardianship, helping them heal from trauma and stay connected through life’s hardest moments.

In our community, more than half of children have experienced trauma before age 18. Love gives them a home — but healing takes more. Families need therapy, support groups, respite care, and a village that understands. That’s where we come in.

Every month, Kindred Hearts hosts therapeutic groups, camps, and respite events that help kids build trust and belonging. But our staff currently use their own cars to pick up children, deliver supplies, and make these moments possible.

🚐 This Giving Tuesday, we’re raising funds for a 12-passenger van — a vehicle of hope that will help us safely transport youth to therapy, respite events, and camps. With your gift, we can reach more children, reduce the burden on staff, and make sure no child misses out on connection because of transportation barriers.
