Marble Rim Gallery Serves as the Only Storefront Art Gallery in the entire Scott Valley
- The Scott Valley Creative Arts Guild, later called the Marble Rim Gallery, was founded in April 1991 by a group of 5 artists to promote awareness, appreciation, and a passion in our community for all types of artistic endeavors.
- Sponsored by several different non-profit organizations over its 34 years, the gallery has maintained a storefront location along Main Street in Fort Jones. The gallery has been located at 11835 Main Street for many years.
- Marble Rim Gallery became a sponsored project of the 501(c)3 non-profit, Scott Valley Theater Company in October 2015, and has remained so to this day.
- The Marble Rim Gallery continues to be a place for local artists and artisans to display and sell their creations, a place for teachers to share their skills, and a center for artists to conduct workshops. It introduces the local artists featured in art shows to the community.

- The Marble Rim Gallery currently sponsors annual and monthly events, which include:
- Scott Valley Artisans’ Street Fair in Spring
- Fort Jones Christmas Craft Fair in December
- The Annual Jewelry Show in November
- First Friday Shows: In addition to the display of members’ work, the Gallery hosts monthly shows of the work of local artists nine months out of the year
- Every year, the gallery features the work of Etna High School students for one of the First Fridays
- Gallery artists offer classes to inspire and empower community members to explore their own creativity in a relaxed, enjoyable setting.
