Raining Cats N Dogs

The animals in our community are going through one of the toughest times we have seen.  Due to COVID-19, continued price increases, lack of vets, and an already overwhelming population of animals, Northern California is seeing an increase in abandonment, suffering, abuse, and a rapidly rising population that was already overwhelmed.  

Due to these reasons, Raining Cats N Dogs will be making a shift in priority. We have always been primarily a rescue with a large foster/adopt program.  However, we would like to make a shift to more of a public assistance program for spay and neutering. We would continue with fostering but not on as large of a scale as before. Due to the serious lack of volunteers in the last several years, we are finding it difficult to accomplish these goals without impacting our fostering operations.  However, we feel spaying and neutering cats and dogs in our community is tremendously needed and has to be a priority currently.

Since veterinarian prices have more than doubled, the funds we raise dwindle fast. Please consider donating the funds needed so Raining Cats N Dogs can help those who cannot afford the spaying/neutering of their animals.
