REDDING FILM FUND

The Redding Film Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to support film production and filmmakers in the Northern California region by showcasing films and providing resources to the local film community. We achieve this by partnering with local community members—whether they are just beginning their journey in filmmaking or have established careers in the industry—screening films that inspire and cultivate a cinema-loving community, sharing job leads and connecting filmmakers with businesses, offering grants and scholarships to both current and aspiring filmmakers, and collaborating with Film Shasta, our local film commission, to increase outside production in the North State.

SUNDIAL FILM FESTIVAL

The Sundial Film Festival (SFF) is an annual event held in Redding, California, and is the flagship program of the Redding Film Fund. Now in its 17th year, the festival features short film submissions from local and international filmmakers, creating a platform to highlight regional talent, attract visiting creatives, and celebrate the accomplishments of filmmakers from around the world. SFF also plays a vital role in supporting Film Shasta, giving our local film commission the opportunity to showcase the diverse landscapes and production-ready locations across Shasta County.
