Piano Angels serves not only kids and families, but directly supports many other non-profit organizations throughout the north state. A short list of those include The Cascade Theater, Viva Downtown, Axiom Theater, Shasta Lake Historical Society, Riverfront Playhouse, Leadership Redding, Performing Arts Society, Friends of Shasta County Library, KKRN Radio, The Good News Rescue Mission, The Burney Food Co-op, Redding Christian School, Palo Cedro Community Park, The Trinity Alps Performing Arts Center, and many more. This year take a moment to look over the list of non-profits and please consider supporting Redding Piano Angels.
Throughout the north state, our community relies on musicians to provide music. When we celebrate, when we commit to each other, when we pass from this life, the music we listen too, dance too, and sing too. Music education enhances the quality of life for students and repeated studies show that kids that play an instrument learn self-governance, cooperation, and inclusion. Playing music often improves them academically as well.
3% of the people on Earth provide music for everyone and of that number an even smaller number compose 100% of the music we love. So the gift of a piano to a kid could impact millions of people. Think about it... a piano was once given to Mozart, Elton John, Billy Joel and look what happened!
Thank you for your consideration in supporting this program which has now reached well over 600 homes, theaters, schools, churches and music studios serving thousands of people.
