Since 1952, the Redding Swim Team Aqua Ducks has been more than a swim program- its been a cornerstone of our community, shaping thousands of lives through the joy of swimming, the thrill of healthy competition and the strength of teamwork. From swim lessons for 4 year olds to Masters programs for those 100 years and beyond, we've fostered safe water skills, resilience, and a love for the sport that lasts a lifetime. You - our alumni, family and supporters- are the heartbeat of this legacy. 

This summer, we welcomed Olympic legend Matt Biondi as our head coach, signaling a bold new chapter for our team. With his expertise, we're elevating our programs- swim lessons, summer and year-round competition, open water events, and Masters swimming - to inspire the next generation of champions. But to keep this momentum going, we need your help. 

On December 2nd, we're partnering with North State Giving Tuesday to raise funds for critical team equipment upgrades as well as funds to rent state-of-the-art timing and scoring systems for our meets at the Redding Aquatic Center and Shasta College. Hosting world-class swim meets draws thousands of swim meets from across the North State, Reno, Oregon and south of Sacramento, boosting our local economy through hotels, restaurants and shops. These events showcase our community's spirit and swimmers' talent, but our outdated equipment is holding us back.

A modern timing and scoring system, costing tens of thousands of dollars, is beyond our operating budget but essential to maintain the high standards our meets are known for. Ability to rent this equipment will ensure our swimmers - your kids, neighbors, and future Olympians - compete on a level playing field with the best facilities in California.
