Redding Trail Alliance Inc

We are a trail stewardship organization dedicated to caring for, planning, and expanding natural surface trails while inspiring people to get outside.  As passionate outdoor enthusiasts, our founding goal was to improve the trail experiences available in our region, with a focus on elevating opportunities for mountain biking as a growing user group.  

Today, we steward multi-use trails that serve hikers, runners, equestrians, and cyclists alike.  This requires thoughtful planning, maintenance, and construction to reduce user conflicts and ensure safe, enjoyable experiences for all.  Take a peek at the "Programs" tab above to see how we're accomplishing this.

Ultimately, we believe trails are far more than routes that simply get you from point A to point B - they’re essential pathways to well-being, adventure, and a vibrant community.

Our fundraising goal for Giving Tuesday is to raise $20,000.00.  To put it in perspective, that would pay for about 600 hours of trail maintenance, build 1/2 a mile of new trail, or cover unfunded operational costs like insurance, taxes (yes, nonprofits still pay taxes), rent, and utilities. And that's just a drop in the bucket.
