Shingletown Library Corporation

The Shingletown Library has been actively serving our local community for the past 31 years.  We have over 13,000 books (many with large print and books on CD) as well as over 940 DVDs available to check out!  The library is open 25 hours per week and offers many community services such as copier services, fax services and computer use with a newly upgraded internet connection, all for a small per-use donation.

In addition to these services, the library also offers incredible events that support the Community of Shingletown and the surrounding areas, such as our Children's Summer Reading Program, Vendor Fairs, Luau, Tri Tip Dinner with a Medieval Theme, and the Christmas Tree Lighting, as well as hosting the Farmers Market and other Community events, helping to make this a great place to live.

With all these wonderful services and events provided by the library, you might be surprised to know that the Shingletown Library operates solely on community funding!  That's right, NO tax dollars, NO government funds.  It's strictly our incredible volunteers and Community members like you that have kept this amazing library open for the last 31 years!  The library is operated solely by community volunteers who donate their time to keep the doors open, procure new books, plan fundraisers and help community members when they visit the library!

We are asking for your support and participation to help continue offering our programs and services to the Community.  The Shingletown Library is a 501(c)3 organization that operates entirely on donations from generous people like you and through our dedicated volunteers who donate their time to keep the daily operations running.
