"Practicing & Promoting the Art of Beekeeping in Siskiyou County"

The Siskiyou County Beekeepers Association is a 501 (c) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy bee populations, sustainable beekeeping practices and a community education on the importance of pollination.

Since 2017, the SisQ Bee Club has led the efforts to promote the adaptation and expansion of Honey Bees in Siskiyou County by providing members with the knowledge and skills to install and maintain healthy bee hives.

Our Mission:

  • Support local beekeepers through Club Meetings, mentorship and resource sharing
  • Maintain a Pollinator Garden for educational purpose
  • Show the public the vital role of pollinators in our ecosystem
  • Foster a community passionate about honey bees and other pollinators

Future Educational Programs:

  • Beekeeping Club meetings or work shops with speakers for adults and youth
  • Pollination-focused educational programs for schools and community groups

What We Want To Do:

  • Provide regular workshops and training sessions for beekeepers of all levels
  • Maintain and expand our pollination garden and share with local schools
  • Offer public demonstration at events to promote beekeeping and pollination awareness
  • Collaborate with local farmers and gardeners to promote pollinator-friendly practices
