$5,000 Goal

Siskiyou Domestic Violence & Crisis Center was started in 1981 as a grass roots organization and became a non-profit in 1984. We have over 40 years serving Siskiyou County. We are the only emergency shelter in Siskiyou County serving primarily victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. All of our services are free and confidential and include: 24-hour hotline, 24-hour crisis response, legal advocacy (including help with restraining orders), individual counseling, group counseling, sexual assault advocacy, accompaniment and information & referrals.  SDV&CC believes in breaking the cycle of violence and creating peaceful communities. As part of that goal, SDV&CC provides violence prevention education at schools, community education presentations, outreach at fairs and other community events, and training for agencies. Last year, we provided 1,853 bed nights, helped 309 victims fill out protective orders, and provided 725 individual counseling sessions. Your donation can help increase our impact in our community!
