Celebrating 55 years of service!

Siskiyou Opportunity Center (SOC) is a nonprofit organization creating opportunities that inspire independence, purpose, and belonging for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Siskiyou and Shasta Counties.

Since 1970, SOC has partnered with local businesses, schools, and families to open doors to meaningful work and community life. Today, we support over 180 adults through supported employment crews, vocational training, day programs, independent living services, and job development in both rural and small-town communities.

From maintaining I-5 rest areas to working in local businesses and building everyday life skills, the people we serve are vital contributors to our region. Donations help us provide transportation, job coaching, life skills activities, and safe, well-staffed programs so that each person can grow, work, and belong close to home.

When you give to SOC through North State Giving Tuesday, you’re not just making a donation—you’re creating real opportunities for your neighbors to build a life filled with choice, dignity, and possibility.
