Society of St Vincent de Paul - Redding

 Saint Vincent de Paul St. Joseph Redding, is a local nonprofit organization within the Diocese of Sacramento (North State District). We have a local help line number that is monitored by SVDP volunteers who vet requests for those in need. We provide assistance with rent, utilities, food and spiritual support with the goal of helping neighbors remain in homes. Whenever possible we provide food for those we visit. Most of all we can be counted on to return our neighbors calls, encouraging them and offering additional support resources when needed.
Our help line number is well known by REU, PG&E, Shasta Lake Utilities, and many rental properties in Shasta County. Often times the agencies refer their customers to our help line when they are struggling to make their payments. We can also be found listed on the 211 resources site. We receive funds from Parish donations, volunteer organized fund raisers, and grants. We do not have any paid positions in our conference and 100% of your donation to SVdP St Joseph Redding will be used to keep people housed and off of the streets.
