“THE MISSION OF THE JEFFERSON PIPE BAND IS TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE PIPE BAND MUSIC BY TEACHING INDIVIDUALS TO PLAY THE GREAT HIGHLAND BAGPIPES AND THE SCOTTISH HIGHLAND DRUMS IN PREPARATION FOR PUBLIC PERFORMANCES.”
The Jefferson Pipe Band, Inc. is a dedicated educational nonprofit serving Northern California and Southern Oregon. We are dedicated to the veterans in our area and support many events honoring them. One of our main goals is to foster interest in this ancient art and pass it on to the youth in our communities by teaching them how to play the Great Highland bagpipes or Scottish drums. Learning to play does have its healthy perks and we are fortunate to have positive support from parents appreciating this musical endeavor available to their teens.
Your donation will help provide annual student scholarships, ongoing student instruction, annual workshops, the purchase of instruments and uniforms, our operational day-to-day expenses and will enable us to foster Celtic music and culture throughout the community while enriching the lives of children and adults alike.
