“THE MISSION OF THE JEFFERSON PIPE BAND IS TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE PIPE BAND MUSIC BY TEACHING INDIVIDUALS TO PLAY THE GREAT HIGHLAND BAGPIPES AND THE SCOTTISH HIGHLAND DRUMS IN PREPARATION FOR PUBLIC PERFORMANCES.”

The Jefferson Pipe Band, Inc. is a dedicated educational nonprofit serving Northern California and Southern Oregon. We are dedicated to the veterans in our area and support their events. One of our main goals is to foster interest in this ancient art and pass it on to the youth in our communities by teaching them to play the Great Highland bagpipes or Scottish drums. Learning to play has its healthy perks and we are fortunate to have positive support from parents appreciating this musical endeavor available to their teens. We also: HEAL. Grieving families have told us the comfort they feel when we play Amazing Grace at Celebrations of Life. The memorials may be a blur but they tell us they will never forget the sound of the bagpipes. JOY. At family and church celebrations as we march in with full regalia bringing in the excitement and happiness only the power of the pipes and drums can bring. EDUCATE. Teaching those with a desire to learn the bagpipes and drums.

Your donation will help provide annual student scholarships, ongoing student instruction, annual workshops, the purchase of instruments and uniforms, our operational day-to-day expenses and will enable us to foster Celtic music and its culture throughout the community while enriching the lives of children and adults alike.
