The Refuge Community

The mission of The Refuge Community is to uplift the Redding-area residents by offering resources that create connection, restore dignity and inspire purpose. We host one free laundry event monthly for those in need.  Our program Hope Street Choir offers purpose-inspiring services including music and arts programing to support emotional healing, engage creativity and bring joy. The Shift Recovery Cafe Redding, is a member based program that requires members to be sober, participate in a weekly recovery circle and serve the cafe community together, which builds self-esteem and a sense of belonging.  All three programs serve a family style meal and promote connection, belonging and relationship.
