Trinity County Friends of the Library

A nonprofit organization

$977 raised by 11 donors

10% complete

$10,000 Goal

The Trinity County Free Library was established in 1916.

Our community, with generous donors and volunteers, continues to support the Trinity County Library system.

The County of Trinity is suffering with increasing costs and flat revenue, and was poised to close all three libraries in 2024. Fortunately, we have been able to rally community support and donations to continue to operate libraries in Hayfork, Trinity Center and Weaverville on a minimal basis.

We must once again ask for donations to pay for books, periodicals, media, labels, youth programs, microfiche, computers, shelves, etc., all of which are not included in the County's budget for 2025-26.

With your support, we can continue to keep the libraries staffed and updated with new books and supplies, as well as help to keep the doors of the three Trinity County Library sites open to the public now and into the future.

We thank you for your support of the public libraries of Trinity County.
