Nonprofit Registration

You're invited to join us for NSGT 2026!

501(c) (3) nonprofit, public organizations headquartered in or serving Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, Modoc, or Trinity counties are eligible to register for participation consideration annually. 

Eligibility Requirements

• Headquartered in or serving our approved geographic region
• Good standing with the IRS, listed as a 501c3 nonprofit, public organization
• Good standing and current "Statement of Information" with the State of California
• Listed and current on the Attorney General's Registry of Charitable Trusts list for the ENTIRE giving event period (this is a newer requirement set by the state of California, learn more HERE)
• In good standing with CFNS
• Have a minimum of one year of financial history (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis)

How does this all work?

1. Complete your registration form, submit, and pay the registration fee (see fee info below)
2. You will receive a submission confirmation email that includes the "To-Do" list you must complete
3. CFNS staff will reach out with any follow-up tasks or questions
4. Your giving page will be public after we verify eligibility and that your "To-Do" tasks are done

A registration fee is due when you submit the form. The fee amount is based on a sliding scale according to your operating budget expenses.

Organizations using a fiscal sponsor or if you are a local chapter of a larger organization, STOP and read these instructions before proceeding. (Note: if you participated with the fiscal sponsor/chapter in NSGT2025 you are already set up, continue to registration!)

Registration is open 8/17/26 - 9/23/26

Registration must be submitted by the deadline 

AND 

Organization "To-Do" items on your giving page must be complete
