Imagine turning on your radio and hearing local music, updates on community events, educational programs, and, when it matters most, critical emergency notifications and recovery information—right here from Siskiyou County, for Siskiyou County.

With your help, we can make this a reality! We’ve been granted an extraordinary opportunity: 11 Low Power FM (LPFM) radio licenses, with one more on the way. These licenses are a rare and valuable chance to build locally controlled radio stations that reflect and respond to our communities, and this chance only comes once every decade.

These stations would be truly community-driven, covering the stories, voices, and music that matter most to us. This is also a vital step in restoring local media in Siskiyou County, which has faced a severe reduction in media presence and coverage in recent years. However, we’re on a strict timeline—we have two and a half years to get these stations on the air, or we risk losing the licenses.
