Every December, the Active 20-30 Club of Redding runs Active Christmas, a program dedicated to helping local kids who aren’t as fortunate during the holidays. Club members work with schools and community partners to identify children in need, gather wish lists, and organize shopping trips to make sure each child receives gifts they’ll truly enjoy.
Volunteers spend the weeks leading up to Christmas purchasing presents, sorting donations, and preparing everything for delivery. The goal is simple: make sure kids who are struggling still feel included, supported, and excited for the holiday season.
On distribution day, the club coordinates pickups and drop-offs so every gift reaches the right family. After everything is delivered, members review the year’s efforts and begin planning improvements for the next Active Christmas.
Active Christmas is about one thing: making sure local children who need help don’t go without during the holidays.
