Choices is a compassionate community surrounding pregnant and parenting families with practical help, connection, and care.

Mamas, dads, grandparents, and other caregivers come through our doors while working, going to school, raising young children, and trying to make life work in an increasingly expensive world. Some are securely housed; others are living in cars, tents, or temporary situations.

For families already stretched thin, the cost of diapers, clothing, food, childcare, transportation, and other necessities can quickly become overwhelming.

That’s where Choices comes in.

We share diapers and wipes, clothing, baby gear, groceries, books and toys, and other essentials—all at no charge. But what happens here goes beyond practical resources.

We ask how life is going. We listen when someone is worried, overwhelmed, struggling with parenting, feeling unsafe, or simply needs someone to talk with.

We listen. We care. We connect. And we help.

This past year, clients and visitors came through our doors more than 2,300 times at our Mt. Shasta and Yreka locations.

Behind every visit is a local family needing something tangible—or perhaps simply a little breathing room and the reassurance that they don't have to navigate a difficult season alone.
