It takes a village. And at Choices, that village is everything.

For more than 30 years, Choices has been a place where practical help meets genuine human connection. Behind every package of diapers, bag of clothing, car seat, shared meal, and listening ear is a community of volunteers and generous givers who make it possible.

Families come to us with everyday struggles:

"I'm out of diapers, and I need to get to work - day care requires diapers."

"I don't know whether to pay the power bill or buy groceries."

"I'm struggling to be calm - everything is out of control. Can we just talk?

We offer more than practical resources. We offer a welcoming place where dignity matters, kindness is freely given, and people feel seen, heard, and cared for.

Guests often remind us just how much that connection means:

"Seriously! I was suddenly pregnant, you listened, and loved me through each step, celebrated when my baby boy was born, and now I am so happy to bring my son and his partner to you so they can feel that same love!"

"We came desperate for diapers, and you invited us to your table for soup and bread. It reminded me of what a family does - but we've been so stressed it doesn't happen."

That's the heart of Choices. And it takes a village to keep that heart beating for local pregnant and parenting families. 

Every volunteer hour, every donated item, every financial gift—large or small—means we can continue showing up for local families.
