Animals always give so much! They always do. Unconditionally.
About a year ago, I joined the Board of Directors at the Siskiyou Humane Society. I've always admired what they've done, but that was taken to a new level when I caught a feral dog a while back. The Humane Society was kind enough to house her on a Foster to Adopt contract while I worked with her to get her to a place where she could come home. Ruby is a lovely addition to our family!!
What I witnessed was a cohesive group of people utterly dedicated to assisting animals and the greater Community.
I'm so proud to have joined such a wonderful team of people!
Rescuing and caring for animals is a never ending cycle, and very expensive to boot. Many grants help, but community support is crucial, and I hope you think so too.
