This Wildways season, we’re pleased to have provided multiple educational nature events for kids and families in our community on several of our protected or partner properties.
These family-friendly free or low-cost events had an emphasis on getting outdoors, learning about local wildlife and plants, and inspiring a curiosity for nature.
Through these events, and with your support, the Shasta Land Trust hopes to provide meaningful access to nature for the future conservationists of tomorrow.
With these efforts, we hope to instill a love for the outdoors and an appreciation for the value in protecting it. Once the natural world is developed, it never returns.
